We will begin our WHOLE KINDERGARTEN reading starting today! This will go from June 1-June 12. This will take place of the recorded reading that is one the website.
The extension activity will be posted by your homeroom teacher and if it is a Seesaw activity, you can submit it through there.
I will be checking on writing and on phonics this week as we dig deeper into both! This is a GREAT time to makeup work that is missing if you have fallen behind! Please continue to submit things so that your child can receive the full credit.
If you would like to schedule a time in the AM on Thursday for your child to read with me, please email me before the EOD Wednesday!
DAILY ASSIGNMENT: I will have assignments due each day. I will be grading two assignments this week and that is what will contribute to your child's grade for the end of the quarter. These assignments are to be done independently and will be graded to reflect the independent work that your child can do. Please remember that it does not help your child develop their own skills if the work is done for them :)
The word "GRADED" will be written next to the assignment.
1. Writing: Please submit any piece of writing that has two sentences. See Wednesday's lesson about writing. I will be looking for inventive spelling and writing mechanics that we have worked on through the year. Your child should be the one stretching the sounds and writing them on paper. It does not help them become a good writer if they do not have to try this for themselves. As I look through the writing to grade, I will be looking for the students work to be completed independently.

Watch the video.
Then, look at the pictures below and try to find them around your house. Using the spelling pattern CVCe, sound out each word and then write the word on a piece of paper. You can take a picture and turn it in on Flipgrid OR you can email it to me! This will count for a grade.
