Overarching Weekly Goals
Compare and Contrast Stories
Blending sounds in Reading Mastery &
Reading Level B books (on reading A-Z) Independently
If you would like to schedule a time in the AM on Thursday for your child to read with me, please email me before the EOD Wednesday!
DAILY ASSIGNMENT: I will have assignments due each day. I will be grading three assignments this week and that is what will contribute to your child's grade for the end of the quarter. These assignments are to be done independently and will be graded to reflect the independent work that your child can do. Please remember that it does not help your child develop their own skills if the work is done for them :)
The word "GRADED" will be written next to the assignment.
1- Writing --> WRITE down 2 sentences about your favorite story from this week. Tell about your favorite parts! (This will be due by Friday)
2- Phonics--> Wednesday, Reading A-Z Book and Quiz
3- Comprehension --> Friday Compare and Contrast
I will still be checking other assignments and those will be marked for completion but the three above will be graded.
Please email me with any questions!

READING COMPREHENSION
Compare and Contrast
I can compare yesterdays story to the story from today.
Watch the video below.
After listening to the story, play the lesson.
You will think about things that were the same and different between our story today and our story yesterday of the three little pigs.
You are thinking of ONE thing that was the SAME! You will write it down and you will illustrate it.
Email it to me or post it on Flipgrid!
